ABOUT
Dr. Malcolm
Hello!
I’m a clinical psychologist living in Rochester, New York. I'm a clinician, a supervisor, and a consultant who has spent the last 15 years or so working with children and teens and their important adults on improving their communication, mutual understanding, and relationships.
In my regular old day job, I work as an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center. I develop and manage programs, which is fun. But the real fun is the time I get to spend with people of all ages, professions, and backgrounds thinking through what has been going well and what could be going better.

The common themes of my work reflect my passion for supporting adults in their caregiving of children, particularly through behavioral health consultation and reflective practice.

In my playtime, I read a lot, find new crafting interests, sporadically write pen pal letters, and volunteer around Rochester's amazing theatre community.
